Features of Online Service
The LibraryWorld.com service allows you to build, manage and search one or more library collections. You can create a user account at no charge. Take a test drive for 30 days by creating and building a library. After the test drive, you can sign up for the service at a low annual subscription rate of just $365.00 per library per year. There are no limits to the number of users who can manage or search your library.
You can build as many library collections as you need and allow other users to help manage your collection by giving them permissions. Each user can be assigned a different set of permissions for each module of your library; including basic searching, cataloging, patron management, circulation, reports, permissions and settings.
The patrons who only want to search are provided an entirely different program suited around their basic searching needs, which can be accessed at libraryworld.com/opac. There is never a charge to allow patrons to search your library.
Catalog
The Catalog module provides a powerful program for building and maintaining a catalog collection. Records can be imported from a local source, hand-keyed, or copied from the site's very large catalog collection. All records are designed around the MAchine Record Catalog (MARC) standard.
Catalog Module Features Include:

Circulation

An Inventory Control module allows you to take full inventory of your holdings and generate missing reports.

The Serials tracking module tracks expected issues, creates holding records when items are received and
allows printing reports to vendors for missing items.

each member in your group for a specific library.
